Drop the dumb stoner stereotypes, forget about those ridiculous anti-drug commercials and realize that the only reason marijuana is illegal is an embedded establishment built on the monetary benefits (for the prison system/guards in America) of incarceration, the competitive interests of the alcohol industry and the hypocrisy of the American government.
Our narratives won’t always contain such an outright stance, and we will always advocate responsible use, but it still has to be said…
The days of marijuana enthusiasts being characterized as unmotivated know-nothings are over. We’re here to perpetuate intelligent, balanced commentary on everything that revolves around the current generation of Counter-Culture participants - the good and the bad.
What Else: The marijuana culture as a whole has dropped the ball. We love the movement and the people, but things have become stagnant. We think that change needs to be spread by creating a new voice with a backbone of technology. The major players aren’t paying attention to how smart today’s smokers can be and they aren’t engaging them in a way that matters.
